Mishti Doi Food Recipes

This Bengali delicacy is a huge favorite with foodies


One litre milk (rich), 200 gm sugar, two tsp sweet curds.

Food Recipes Add about 150 gm of sugar to the milk and boil on high flame for 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Place the remaining sugar in a heavy-bottomed pan with two tbsp water and melt on low flame. Once the mixture becomes dark brown, add the sugar mixture gradually to the boiled milk. Now, boil again for five minutes, cool the mixture, add the curd and mix well. Cover and allow it to set for about seven hours. Serve chilled. If you want more taste, you can pour the curd in earthen pots.
